Your journey begins at Cabo Girão, Europe’s highest sea cliff and home to the famous skywalk a glass-floored viewing platform suspended 589 metres above the crashing waves below. Standing on the transparent floor might make your knees wobble, but the reward is an exhilarating view of Madeira’s south coast.

We willl also visit Miradouro de São Sebastião, a scenic viewpoint offering sweeping panoramic views over the quaint village of Ribeira Brava and the dramatic coastline beyond. It’s the perfect place to soak in the fresh air, snap some incredible photos, and get introduced to the raw beauty of Madeira.

At the Ponta do Sol Pier in Madeira, visitors can enjoy a peaceful moment by the sea in one of the island’s most charming coastal villages Travelers will have some time here to walk along the pier, feel the refreshing sea breeze, and take beautiful photos of the coastline and crystal-blue waters.

From there, we head toward a hidden historic road, a true secret of the island, paved with calçada stones laid meticulously by hand, one at a time. This ancient route winds through quiet, untouched areas of the island and is a real window into Madeira’s past, far from the typical tourist trail.

As the road fades into the wild, we’ll kick things up a notch with a mystery off-road experience. Buckle up and hold on as our 4×4 takes you off the beaten path and into the heart of nature—expect rugged terrain, jaw-dropping views, and the thrill of exploring places that most vehicles can’t reach.

Eventually, our off-road adventure leads us to the enchanting Fanal Forest, a UNESCO-listed laurel forest wrapped in mist and magic. Here, you’ll have time to wander amongst ancient, twisted trees, soak in the peaceful atmosphere, and take incredible photos. This mystical forest is often blanketed in a fog that gives it an otherworldly feel—it’s a dream for nature lovers and photographers alike.

Next, we head downt to Praia da Ribeira da Janela, a striking rocky beach known for its dramatic sea stacks and fascinating coastal caves. You’ll have time to explore the beach, discover hidden corners, and snap some unforgettable shots next to the towering rock formations that emerge from the ocean.

After all that adventure, it’s time to relax with a lunch stop in the charming coastal town of Porto Moniz, known for its natural volcanic swimming pools. Enjoy delicious local cuisine at a seaside restaurant, and if time allows, take a quick stroll through the town or dip your toes in the nearby pools.

We end the day at the spectacular Seixal black sand beach, one of Madeira’s most unique and picturesque beaches. With the lush green cliffs as your backdrop and the Atlantic Ocean at your feet, you’ll have time to swim, sunbathe, or simply relax on the volcanic black sands before we head back.
